The Sustainable Arts Society at Blue Ridge will post news and press releases in .pdf format on this page in a timely manner to provide you with information about our artist in residency program, the artists who are in residence at the Cochran-Davenport farmstead and news about this exciting new arts initiative in our community. News about events, workshops, exhibitions and upcoming programs that are part of the mission of the Society will be posted on this site.
EVENTS & PROGRAMS
Events, workshops, exhibitions and programs sponsored by or produced by SAS artists, members or staff will be posted through Releases and PSA’s to local media, flyers distributed at area arts organizations and posted on public bulletin boards and local business locations.

The Sustainable Arts Society provides an email listerv for anyone who is an artist applicant, artist in residence or past resident and society fellow, and for anyone who is a past, present or future member, volunteer, supporter or sponsor for the purpose of distributing news about the artist in residence program, events and programs sponsored by the Society and local art news for the Blue Ridge community.
The listserv is provided to foster dialogue among our resident artists, local artists, area arts community members and the Society about the value, purpose and legacy of artist communities. It is a service intended to effectively improve communication, the sense of community and the opportunity for discussion about our progress with this exciting new initiative in the Blue Ridge community.
